Academics

At Goodloe Elementary School, our students attend school from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. Throughout the week, students rotate through engaging special area classes, including Computer Lab, Music, Library, Spanish, and Counseling.

To support the diverse needs of all learners, our students also have access to a wide range of support services:

  • Reading Interventionist
  • Math Interventionist
  • EL (English Learner) Interventionist
  • School Counselor
  • Gifted Education Teacher
  • Speech Therapist
  • School Nurse

Each grade level participates in “Tiger Time,” a dedicated block of time for personalized instruction. During this time, students engage in Close Reading, Math Fact Drills, i-Ready Reading and Math, and other activities aligned with the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards.
